Couldn't be Saved

I haven’t posted anything for quite some time. I could blame school or myself, so I’ll just blame both. I really don’t know what to write at this very moment. I’m still in the process of figuring out what I want this blog to be used for. Perhaps a place for my photography? Or maybe about fashion and music? Whatever I do decide I need to figure out how to do it so that people can read and come back.

Public School Chronicles. Parte Uno

You know, I don’t know what I love most about public school. Maybe it’s the multiculturalism or the large number of students. Who knows? But since my school offers none of this, when crap like this happens (see picture above), I’m reminded that I am still at a public school. Just not a massive one.

Reason for Leaving DC #2438

Capitol Sign

Today was a sign day. Of all the photos I took today, most consist of signs. They’re not in the photos intentionally though because today (9/12/09) was the National Taxpayers Rally here in DC. And what a rally it was! Never have I been in the presence of so many “conservative” Americans. Also, I’ve never seen so many people who were against Obama. It wasn’t shocking though. It’s America…land of the opinionated. Read the rest of this entry »

Summer, Summer Go Away

This is how my summer looked and felt.

This is how my summer looked and felt.

The summer season is ending very soon as I can feel it in my bones. Also, clothing stores are selling off their summer collections like no tomorrow. That’s when you know the next season is coming. Crazy how stores control how we sense the changing of the seasons. For example, if I walk into my local CVS Pharmacy or equivalent during the month of September I’m sure I will see decorations for Halloween. And depending on the store I may even see some Thanksgiving crap. Oh, I am not over exaggerating (alrighty, maybe I am a little) but it does happen! The same happens with back-to-school sales and promotions. All the big computer manufactures and retail shops start spewing their “Gifts for grads” and other campaigns like that by mid-July. I can’t stand it. Let summer be summer.

Be patient.

I was really happy to finally see some authentic Welsh culture. More pictures after the break. Read the rest of this entry »

Summer in DC has officially started.

Wanna know my indicator for finding out when summer has begun here in the District? The sound of fireworks going off.  Oh yeah, for some reason here in DC cops still aren’t cracking down on people using firecrackers here in the city. I mean, I know it isn’t illegal and I don’t really mind them much, but when your trying to go to sleep at 10 or 11 at night you don’t want to hear mini-bombs going off. But every year around the end of May and beginning of June (and sometimes even April) the fireworks go off! Read the rest of this entry »

Gucci S/S ’10

So wanna know whats very significant about the Summer of 2010? No, not the fact that I’m graduating from high school, but the fact that rich, fashionable guys around the world will be wearing Gucci’s new collezioni. Oh how I just envy those men. Not to0 much but just enough. Anyways! Let us feast our eyes on some amazing clothes!
